Cool, loamy soils, slate and limestone. Sun-drenched humid air. Fresh winds. The heat radiation from the lake and the fresh night winds over the vineyards. All this produces full-bodied wines, from great reds to refined whites. At the same time, the individual sites shape the characters of our wines, conveying the specific terroirs in each case.
Information about Rosalia:
On the eastern slope of the Rosalia Mountains, stretching along the Lower Austria-Burgenland border, lies the Rosalia winegrowing region. Pannonian climate and clay soils of all kinds offer perfect conditions there for the cultivation of Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, the two most prominent grape varieties of the area.
